Vauxhall Reduces New Car Prices Following UK VAT Cut
Compare.Com has discovered that the car giant, Vauxhall will be reducing the prices of new cars from today by a modest 2.5% following the announcement of the Chancellor last week that V.A.T. will be slashed to 15%.
What is unsure at this time is how many other major car manufacturers will follow in Vauxhall’s footsteps and pass those savings onto the consumer. So iif you are looking to purchase one of Vauxhall’s new models in 2009 then you could save £150.00 off the price of a new Vauxhall Agila 1.0i up to over £770 off the price of the stunning new Vauxhall VXR8 Auto.
Hopefully this will be the nudge other major car manufacturers need to follow suit, with the economy growing weaker, surely this is the only move to synchronise new car prices with the current state of the failing economy.
So, if you are looking to slash the price of your car insurance with a new Vauxhall, why not compare car insurance with www.comparecom.co.uk
