A recent survey by roadside assistance giant, RAC reveals that 31% of motorists are about to bear the winter months without breakdown cover. Lady drivers aged between 18 and 24 are even less likely to be protected and over 39 per cent are risking being left out in the cold this winter due to a breakdown.
