Drink Drivers Struggle to Get Insured

Compare.com can reveal that police authorities in the North of Ireland are warning drivers that drive under the influence of alcohol that if caught, may have difficulty to obtain car insurance.
Last year, authorities underwent a winter crackdown on drink driving and as a result, over 600 drivers were arrested.
The effects of drink driving can be grave, ruining families and communities, Chief Constable Roy Toner appealed for all drivers to consider the consequences when driving under the influence. He added that anyone found in charge of a vehicle while influenced by the effects of alcohol would more than likely face the minimum of a one years driving ban.
