Car Insurance and Breakdown Companies Get Snowed Under

Compare.com can reveal that, as of this morning top insurers are being overwhelmed with a sudden increase in car insurance claims due to the treacherous frosty road conditions.
The AA had received 8,000 call-outs by noon and was preparing itself to top 16,000 compared to an average day of eleven thousand callouts. RAC had also reported a widespread increase in callouts.
Of course the current road conditions can only mean an increase of accidents and car insurance claims, with reported blizzard conditions in some areas, so we urge you to drive safely, and more importantly – consider not driving at all.
Unfortunatley, things could get worse, with weather reports suggesting more snow is on the way – most motorists are hoping it won’t be knee deep by the time they wake up in the morning.
