UK drivers demand prohibition for handsfree mobile phones
According to a recent survey made by a renowned car insurer, almost 70% of UK drivers think that receiving or making calls and using hands free technology while driving is a major distraction. Whilst, it is against law to make use of handheld handset while driving, it is absolutely legal to drive or speak on a handsfree kit.
Several studies made have also confirmed that almost sixteen million drivers make use of hands free technology on regular basis. Almost, 40 % of motorists feel that in car hands free kits should be banned.
