Drivers may be wasting cheap compare car insurance savings
It has been suggested that Motorists who compare car insurance may end up frittering away any savings they have made if they do not check their engine oil regularly.
Vehicle care company Comma claimed too many auto owners are falling to roll up their sleeves and have a look under the bonnet as frequently as required. Research by firm revealed that 17% of drivers have never checked their oil and one in 20 are unsure about how they would do so.
Sales and Marketing Director, Mike Bewsey said “When we are watching the pennies, its draft that we don’t take better care of one of the most expensive items we own”.
Drivers who take the time to conduct regular maintenance may reduce their chances of being involved in an accident, thereby helping to protect their low quotes when they compare car insurance next time.
In other news, a UK car scrappage scheme has finally been announced and will be implemented next month.
