Motorists across the UK may be tempted to compare car insurance for Citroen when they realize that the manufacturer is already offering its own version of a car scrappage scheme.
The companies pointed out the buyers do not need to wait until the month of May to get the cash for their bangers. It explained Citroen customers who trade in a vehicle that was registered before 2000 will be offered £2,000 if they order a new car by the end of the month. Motorists were reminded that the manufacturer offers a wide range of vehicles, many of which boast carbon dioxide emissions of 120g/km.
Xavier Duchemin, managing director of Citroen in the UK said the scrappage scheme announced in yesterday’s budget would help the country reduce its carbon footprint. However, car buyers don’t have to wait for the government, they can benefit from our £2,000 incentive right now, he added.
