Design award given to Aston Martin Concept
A design award has been given to the latest car to roll off the Aston Martin production line. The One-77 is a concept and was named as the winner of the Consorco d’Eleganza Design Award for concept cars and prototypes in Italy this weekend.
The shores of Lake Como saw the auto shown off to the public in its first complete display. According to the design director for the manufacturer Marek Reichman, the prize is “testament to the Aston Martin Team and the original concept”. He added that “Winning here today has proven One-77 as a benchmark in automotive design”.
The award was voted for by the visiting public, who chose from eight entries. Meanwhile, those on the lookout for a car insurance quote might want to remember to tell their provider if they carry high value goods inside their vehicle.
The DB9 for example now comes with an optional Bang & Olufsen sound system, so if the drivers are thinking of changing their audio set up then they may benefit by informing their insurer.
