The lowest percent of people willing to change their current vehicles for a smaller engine car went down to sixteen per cent. Young drivers were found to be more reluctant towards the idea of trading their present vehicle with a smaller one. Women, too, were against the idea. Even in financial situation where people are finding it hard to pay for their rents and other necessities, people are not willing to downsize their vehicle for smaller engine and less powerful vehicle even if such type of vehicle will help them in saving on their car insurance
