Same level of car insurance products can be purchased for a lower price
A research conducted by a leading car insurance company in UK, has revealed that a greater number of people are looking for the same level of coverage to their vehicles by their car insurance policies but at a cheaper price. While a lower number of motorists are looking for ways to save on insurance policies.
According to this study, about 70 per cent of the surveyed motorists had spent time to compare car insurance products during the last year. At the same time, they were looking for ways to save their money. However, most of the motorists preferred to purchase the same extent and level of the insurance cover as their existing one, but for a lesser price.
About 97 per cent of the surveyed drivers said that they would not like to switch from their fully comprehensive products to third party covers just to reduce their monthly insurance premiums. About 90 per cent of the motorists said that they would not even opt for a higher policy excess for reducing their premium amounts. A positive and satisfactory research revelation was about the number of motorists driving without an insurance policy. Only two percent admitted they have considered driving without any insurance cover. The majority of the surveyed population is trying to maintain their car insurance extras including the courtesy car option and the breakdown cover.
Car insurance prices and premium amounts are going through the roofs these days. This has not resulted in the drivers giving up their valuable motor insurance covers for lowering down the premium amounts. By some comparison and shopping around for various quotes, it is still possible to get a desirable level of cover at an affordable price in the car insurance industry. This means, it is actually possible for the UK motorists to get a cheaper car insurance product without compromising on the extent of coverage it offers.
